In 2020, the railway authority invested 2 million yuan to build eight fully automatic numerical control sunlit mushroom houses and strawberry greenhouses for Fengzhuang Village. The project included the construction of ancillary facilities such as cold storage and drying workshops. Officials were also stationed in the village to help find sales channels and expand the influence.
To facilitate the circulation of agricultural products, CR-Lanzhou has launched a public welfare “slow train” to create a mobile rural market, turning the “slow train” into a “wealth train.” Since 2021, CR has continued to provide consumer assistance to the assisted areas. Through targeted procurement, on-board loading, and e-commerce support, CR has included more than 300 types of agricultural and special products from 53 enterprises and village collective economies in the product catalog for consumer assistance by CR-Lanzhou, with a cumulative purchase and support sales amounting to nearly 150 million yuan.
This year, CR-Lanzhou has allocated 22 million yuan in supporting funds, implementing projects such as the “Hundred Beautiful Villages” tourism, and consistently launching targeted assistance initiatives to promote the integrated development of agriculture, culture, and tourism. This effort aims to make the lives of local residents more prosperous.
